Automotive Service Technician or Experienced Apprentice Wanted!

Schultz Automotive is a busy, modern, progressive 6 bay automotive repair facility in the growing community of Tavistock with a great clientele of loyal customers, by providing an exceptional service experience. We have been in business for 29 years and are closed on weekends. We have a friendly and stable working environment with ongoing support and training and have been a member of the Napa AutoPro service network for 16 years.

We are currently seeking a full time  Automotive Service Technician or Experienced Apprentice to join our family.

A positive and friendly attitude is a priority.

Duties include:

• Diagnostics
• Tires and tire repair
• Heating and air conditioning
• Steering and suspension.
• Wheel alignments.
• Belts and hoses
• Engine cooling system
• Batteries, starting and charging.
• Brake repair
• Oil services
• Muffler and exhaust
• Visual safety and courtesy inspection and car washing
• Recommend additional repairs as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid 310S certificate or currently enrolled in apprenticeship program.
• Trustworthy, motivated and energetic.
• Must be able to lift weight up to 50lbs safely.
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic tools.
• All make and model knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to work independently and with other team members.
• Reports to advisor to obtain designated daily work.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure the day runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
• Maintain a high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review work orders, follow checklists and accurately report findings to the service advisor.
