Ontario's Drive Clean Program changed on January 1, 2013: The new Drive Clean On-Board Diagnosic (OBD) test reads your car’s computer history to see if your vehicle meets emissions standards.
Schultz Automotive is a certified Test & Repair Facility in the Ontario Drive Clean emissions testing program for light duty vehicles that require the OBD test (model years 1998 or newer) to renew your vehicle's license plates or transfer the ownership. If for some reason your vehicle fails to meet the government standards, our certified technicians can quickly & accurately diagnose the problem, do any authorized repairs and then re-test your vehicle. 1988 to 1997 Light Duty vehicles will still require tailpipe testing. Although we are not going to be testing these vehicles we are still authorized to diagnose & repair any failures. We can help you locate a facility for testing or arrange to take it there for you. We can also help to prevent emissions test failures by performing regular maintenance & inspections on your vehicle.
